early days
games have a huge impact on me when i was younger and a lot of it matters to me so much.
during my childhood, i remember having an atari 2600 and it was awesome. it was fun too that i had a blast playing it!
a couple years later, i got a nintendo ds and that made me fall in love.
there was new super mario bros, nintendogs, mario kart ds and a lot of more games that i can go on and on...
i had a few consoles at the time which is: a nintendo dsi, nintendo 3ds, and a wii u.
i really love handhelds and i think a lot of consoles too... and i always kill time playing whatever games i had.
fast forward to when i got internet, i play a lot of games on there. from webkinz, to monkey quest, and a lot of flash games!
(pretty much i spend a lot of my time on the computer too. :silly smile:)

now you're probably thinking why i love games so much??
well... i love everything about them! the characters, the story, music and a lot of content put into it!
it's the fact that i care about it so much that it holds me dearly.
every time i think about games, i would scream and jump in happiness! yes i'm normal about it and i obsess 24/7-,,
in my free time besides drawing; i do love playing video games!
it's lovely and it brings me enjoyment towards them...
oh! my favorites? mmm you and i are going to be here all day since i can list about 39085 games,, but !!
garry's mod, half life, super smash bros ultimate, kirby, ultrakill, pokemon and lots more!

as for genres, i love rpgs, simulators, action and indie games the most!
did you know i love video game music?? very much that they're my favorite and i jam out all the time!

pc and switch
i'm a pc gamer when it comes to video games..,, speaking of... i actually play more on my computer than on my switch ! haha. :smiles:
oooo i want to bring this up. i LOVE gaming pcs. it's nice having one since you can build your own and have custom parts to your liking!!
i would love to have a powerful gaming pc one day...
i do love my switch a lot and i do to this day! i love the colorful joycons and how you can play anywhere on the go!
i had it around in late 2018 and when i first got it, i love it so much that it's my favorite console of all time.
when it comes to playing games on there, i mostly play on the tv or handheld. but i also play on the dock too!
that said, i really love the pro controller a lot honestly and i like the feel to it. i'm pretty happy with my purchase. c:
i love pc games a whole bunch as i already mentioned, but consoles are lovely also! they are both awesome just the same!

collections
when it comes to buying games, i would try to buy physical games as much as i can!
i have a lot of physical switch games and i still buy them from time to time! (to be fair, i buy games mostly on pc now LOLL)
in the past, i had a ton of ds and gba games for my ds/dsi... and some other games from my other consoles as well.
oh man if i still have it, it'll be fun to revisit those days!
i love getting physical releases on games because i love seeing the cover art on there... i remember there's manuals included for some of them!
it's nice to keep in my collection and i like the cartridges/discs. i keep all of them in my case/bag!
i do like limited/special editions, but i'm not worried about it unless if i really need to purchase it.
it's neat seeing goodies included like: an art book, music, etc!
for pc games, i purchase them when it's on sale since i love to do so! i love getting discounts on games i love heheh ^^ 🩷
conclusion
my love for video games will always remain and it will never fade in my consciousness.
it's something i'm very affectionate since the beginning and that makes me very happy so much !! it feels real to me you know? i may be silly, but they mean a whole lot to me.
(i'm sorry if i mention and repeat myself too many times of the same thing!! but either way, i am eternally content :))
